My name is Samuel Caplan. I am a concerned citizen who has been shocked by the brazen and illegal actions from our shameful new administration. Trump is attempting to rewrite history and not hold Russia accountable for their unprovoked invasion of Ukraine, and the millions of lives they have placed into turmoil or stolen. All this, while our government is being gutted and stolen from the people.

I happen to own an old commercial building on the corner of a busy and prominent intersection in Cleveland Ohio. My hope is to cover the top perimeter of my building, roughly 240’, in banners that bring attention to the horrific ramifications of the hack-and-slash spending cuts made by DOGE (mostly to fund corporate tax cuts), as well as Trumps deeply concerns shifting of US policy in favor of Russian interests. I will also be hanging an upside down American flag in support of federal employees who’ve been wrongfully terminated.

I will be ordering outdoor 4x10’ banners from VistaPrint. Any extra funds beyond what is needed to surround my shop will go towards security camera upgrade that I am otherwise paying out of pocket to make sure the property is safe from those with conflicting viewpoints.
