This week, vandals painted hateful, anti-LGBTQ+ graffiti outside the Long Beach Pride headquarters—our home base for community, support, and celebration.

Acts of hate are not something we expect to see in our own front yard, especially in Long Beach—a city where we have fought for decades to be seen, accepted, and embraced as equal members of this community. Pride is more than a parade—it is about standing up for our right to live openly, safely, and fully.
