Stand with Boston Stagehands
Due to social distancing measures and event cancellations nationwide, the live entertainment industry and its workers have been disproportionately devastated by the COVID-19 unemployment crisis. Since March 13, 2020, our industry has suffered 99% unemployment. We were the first industry to shut down and we will be the last to return to work. Meanwhile, our stagehands are suffering each day that our federal government fails to pass a new relief package.
For more than 130 years, IATSE Local 11 Stagehands have helped provide Greater Boston’s audiences the absolute best in entertainment. Please watch our video to hear directly from local stagehands who remain out of work through no fault of their own. Please consider donating to support them.
