Skid Row People’s Market is community-based grocery shop focusing on products n services that nourish the mind, body and spirit, rooted in social and economic justice. We are located here in the hustling bustling intersection of 5th & San Pedro in the heart of Skid Row.

We’ve been open and serving the community all through the year, and like many mom n pop shops and small businesses that’s been ravaged by the pandemic injustice, our business has been impacted severely as well.

Low-wage workers & essential workers have to make the choice everyday between going to work during the pandemic and risking health and safety OR not going, which means not having enough food on the table, rent money and accruing debts.

Our fundraising goal is $2,400. We’d like to give a holiday bonus of $200 each to all workers and helpers this year.
