Staff Fund: The Woods

If you have ever had your spirits lifted by the warm atmosphere, great music and friendly vibe at The Woods, you can thank the amazing bar staff. The Woods is now temporarily closed, as a result of the Coronavirus outbreak. Our staff is temporarily unemployed. We are trying to raise money to keep the staff afloat.

Unemployment coverage, if and when that comes through, is insufficient to cover our bills. Paid sick leave is also only a very small help. We are researching every way to access additional aid. But this will take some time.

These kind and fun people have been bringing the energy and serving the love  to our neighborhood for almost 10 years. All of the performers, dj's, karaoke and ladies night regulars are welcomed, served and assisted by a great set of humans. All of our regulars, new customers, neighborhood friends, artists, authors, musicians, teachers, and softball teams are brought into the bar like family.  This staff make it look easy, but it's a hard job . And they do it with love.

Your generous donations will go to helping with basic living expenses, and show them they are appreciated in the community. All donations will go to The Woods unemployed staff members. Thank you. We are going to party like it's the end of the world once this is all over!
