Support Ammala and Gabriel During an Unexpected Medical Crisis
Ammala recently welcomed her fourth child, a beautiful baby girl. At the same time, her family is facing an overwhelming and unexpected medical crisis.
Her husband, Gabriel, is a U.S. veteran who served our country with honor. He served in the Army from 2008 to 2011, including a combat deployment to Afghanistan, and later in the Air Force Reserves from 2013 to 2016. He is currently experiencing early onset dementia and related neurological symptoms that have significantly affected his ability to work and function day to day.
Gabriel is already service connected, but his benefits are still pending at higher levels, leaving major gaps in support during a critical moment. While they navigate medical evaluations and VA processes, the financial and caregiving burden has fallen entirely on Ammala.
Ammala is now caring for a newborn and three other children while also acting as her husband’s full time advocate and primary support. She manages medical appointments, paperwork, daily household needs, and the emotional weight of holding her family together largely on her own.
This GoFundMe is meant to provide immediate relief during a season when everything is happening at once.
Funds raised will go toward:
In home support or childcare help so Ammala can attend appointments and rest when needed
Mortgage and household expenses while income and benefits are limited
Daily living costs as Gabriel is unable to work
Flexibility and stability while the family waits for medical answers and benefit decisions
This family did not plan for this. They are doing everything they can advocating, showing up, and pushing forward, but no one should have to carry this much alone, especially with a newborn at home.
If you are able to contribute, your support will directly help keep this family stable during an incredibly uncertain time. If you cannot donate, sharing this page is just as meaningful.
Thank you for surrounding Ammala, Gabriel, and their children with care and support when they need it most.
