Hi, I’m Amber, a mother of four and a dedicated grant writer serving nonprofits and businesses.

Over the past year, my family has walked through an unexpected and overwhelming season. When the government shutdown in October 2025 hit, my business took a significant loss, which deeply impacted my income and savings. Like many families, the holidays stretched us thin, but shortly after, things became even more difficult.

Our rental home was affected by severe mold, sewage, and water damage. It quickly became unsafe to stay. Unfortunately, the landlords were unable to fix the issues promptly, leaving me with no choice but to move my children into a hotel.

At the time, I was 7 months pregnant, trying to hold everything together while facing uncertainty about where I would bring my baby home. For months, I carried the financial and emotional weight of hotel costs, food, and constant instability.

By the grace of God, I have now found a safe and stable home for my family. This is a fresh start for us.

However, the upfront costs, security deposit and first month’s rent are more than I can cover right now while still recovering financially from the past several months. I have done everything I can to stay afloat, including purchasing a reliable vehicle after mine became unsafe during the winter.

I am humbly asking for support to help secure this home for me and my children. Every donation, prayer, and share means more than I can express. This home represents stability, peace, and a safe place for my children to grow and heal.
