Tens of thousands of Irish immigrants came here in the early 1800s seeking a better life, and their spirit still shapes our city. Their joy, grit, and love of life spread far and wide, which is why on March 17th, everyone feels a little Irish. Come join the fun!

Put on your green and head to Wellington Street on March 7th at 11 a.m. to cheer on the Emerald Mile Run by Run Ottawa (https://www.runottawa.ca/races-and-events/the-emerald-mile/), then stay for the most anticipated Ottawa St. Patrick’s Day Parade at noon. The Parade route starts at the Supreme Court of Canada, heads east along Wellington Street, turns up Sussex Drive, and wraps up right in the heart of the ByWard Market.
