St James’ Church Clock

GREAT NEWS… Shaftesbury Charitable Trust have just agreed to match every penny Holly raises .

My incredible and caring daughter Holly (8 years old) randomly said to myself and my wife one day that she has noticed the St James’ church clock had stopped working. She then went on to say how she was going to raise money to contribute to the cost of fixing the clock at St. James’ Church Shaftesbury.

Ever since the clock stopped working she has been thinking of ways to raise money for the repairs. So she decided she would have a stall at the Abbey Primary School Christmas fair, along with her sister Mali for added support. She has been busy making Christmas decorations ever since.

The quotes for the repair of the clock are in the region of £6k. Any contribution Holly could make towards this would fill her with joy. As a father, seeing my daughter so passionate about something like this makes my heart burst with pride and admiration.
