Hi, I'm Melanie Chair of the St Georges Day Celebration Group.

Since 2006 our team has proudly hosted the St Georges Day Celebration in Ollerton Village, Nottinghamshire, a colourful, joyful community powered event held on the nearest Sunday to April 23rd.

This amazing tradition has brought schools, families, musicians, dancers, local groups and residents of all ages together.

It is one of the biggest and happiest days in our local calendar, full of smiles, music, pride and unity.

But we are facing a challenge.

Each year the costs keep rising. Before we can even think about entertainment, we must cover these essential expenses:
