St Christopher's Sleepout 2021
Donation protected
On Thursday 4th November 2021 over 100 students and staff from St Christopher's CE High School will be sleeping 'rough' overnight in order to raise money for three charities; Child Action North West (CANW), Nightsafe and Maundy Relief.
These charities have been the focus of our students' fundraising for some years. They offer vital support for the homeless in East Lancashire. In the run up to the event, students have been involved in raising the profile of our charities and approaching local suppliers for donations of food and cardboard to help the event run smoothly. Over the course of the event, students will be making soup to be delivered to homeless shelters in the area using donated produce. They will then spend the night outside in conditions chosen to help replicate a small part of the struggles faced by the homeless community each winter.
Please help our students to raise as much money as possible for this very worthy cause. Donations of food towards the soup and cardboard to help create the sleepout conditions are also very gratefully received. Thank you for your support,
