St Augustine's and Christ Church 2025 Crowdfunder

We're proud to be the local church for Whitchurch and Hengrove. This church is here to serve the community and it belongs to the community.

As well as providing fully inclusive space for worship we also provide endless community support and activity.

We run weekly and occasional events for everyone from toddlers to pensioners. Community meals, social events, bereavement support, life support.

We support people throughout all stages in life in ways you see and ways you don't and we're deeply proud of it.

However we don't receive any outside funding. Grant income is unpredictable and precarious. And so we're totally reliant on the generosity of the people in the community that can afford to help.

None of this works without your support.

Our financial position was already precarious, having about broken even in 2024, and unfortunately we've been the victim of a theft in February which is going to make this year even harder.

So if you can afford to help it really does make a difference, and every penny goes straight back into your community.

(PS: The vicar Sam's name is on the fundraiser, because he set it up, but all money goes into the church accounts!)
