St Andrew's Charity Walk – Supporting Six Charities, One Step at a Time!
Students and staff from St Andrew's CE High School are coming together on Wednesday 2nd July 2025 for a special challenge – a 10-mile charity walk to raise funds for six incredible local charities, each proudly represented by one of our school’s houses.
The walk will take us from Hillbarn to Chanctonbury Ring, via the beautiful Cissbury Ring, and back again – a scenic yet challenging route that reflects our commitment to making a real difference in our community.
Our goal is to raise £3,000, and every pound donated (minus essential event costs) will go directly to support the following charities:
Ferring Country Centre – Providing training and work experience for people with learning disabilities
Turning Tides – Working to end local homelessness
Blind Veterans UK (Rustington) – Supporting vision-impaired ex-service men and women
Safe in Sussex – Offering support and refuge for people affected by domestic abuse
SID Youth – Empowering and supporting young people
Worthing Food Foundation – A non-referral food bank helping local families in need
This is more than just a walk – it's an opportunity for our school community to unite, show compassion, and take meaningful steps toward supporting those who need it most.
Please consider donating – every contribution, big or small, will help us reach our target and support these fantastic causes.
Thank you so much for your generosity and support!
