Hi, my name is Hannah and I am from St Andrews Academy Secondary school and it has been a long term goal of mine to take part in our Uganda project, and this year I can finally achieve this. Every child has the right to a free, good-quality primary education school helps children develop the skills they need to make themselves heard in the world, to make positive changes in their lives, and finally break free from poverty.A basic education helps us live a full and rewarding life.Yet today, more than 72 million children in the developing world – the majority of them girls – are going without one. Our mission is to travel to Uganda with the goal to create better spaces and facilities for these young children’s lives to better their standards of education. With the money I fundraise this will help with costs of materials, payments to local builders, vaccinations and travel. Any help I can get big or small is deeply appreciated as this is not just a once in a lifetime  opportunity for me but will better the standards of life to these children in this developing country.
