Hello everyone.

The past few weeks, I have had the worst time trying to walk even a small distance. I started out with a cane, then a walker, and even a manual wheelchair. Due to my kidney injury that occurred last December during my surgery, which led to my kidney failure, things have not gotten better at all. Kidney failure, congestive heart failure, edema, neuropathy, a sprained hip, sprained pelvis, and a few more problems have caused a big weight gain, which makes it very difficult to stand for very long, and I have shortness of breath.

I barely leave my house due to being embarrassed and unable to even walk in a store to grocery shop. As many of you know, I have a 9-year-old who is involved with activities, and I have missed some events due to my decline in mobility. I began physical therapy and occupational therapy, but until I’m recovered and my kidneys get healed up, I need to purchase a power scooter/wheelchair that will fold up and fit in my car. My insurance refuses to cover a chair for me. I’m fighting to get disability benefits, so it’s very hard financially for me at this time.

I don’t like asking for help, but I have no other choice right now. I have to still be able to get out of the house, attend my daughter’s events, and go on with life as much as I can. I have a huge fear of falling again, so the walker is just not useful at this point. If you would be so kind to donate a few bucks so that I could purchase my power scooter chair, I would greatly appreciate it. If you can’t donate at this time, prayers are as valuable as money to me, and I would appreciate more prayers as well as I strive to get better and be myself again.
