<div>The past few weeks, I have had the worst time trying to walk even a small distance. I started out with a cane, then a walker, and even a manual wheelchair. Due to <strong>my kidney injury that occurred last December during my surgery, which led to my kidney failure</strong>, things have not gotten better at all. Kidney failure, congestive heart failure, edema, neuropathy, a sprained hip, sprained pelvis, and a few more problems have caused a big weight gain, which makes it very difficult to stand for very long, and I have shortness of breath.

<div>I barely leave my house due to being embarrassed and unable to even walk in a store to grocery shop. As many of you know, I have a 9-year-old who is involved with activities, and I have missed some events due to my decline in mobility. I began physical therapy and occupational therapy, but until I’m recovered and my kidneys get healed up, <strong>I need to purchase a power scooter/wheelchair that will fold up and fit in my car</strong>. My insurance refuses to cover a chair for me. I’m fighting to get disability benefits, so it’s very hard financially for me at this time.

<div>I don’t like asking for help, but I have no other choice right now. I have to still be able to get out of the house, attend my daughter’s events, and go on with life as much as I can. I have a huge fear of falling again, so the walker is just not useful at this point. <strong>If you would be so kind to donate a few bucks so that I could purchase my power scooter chair, I would greatly appreciate it.</strong> If you can’t donate at this time, prayers are as valuable as money to me, and I would appreciate more prayers as well as I strive to get better and be myself again.
