Squeaks is only 7 months old but he’s lived a very tough life. We rescued him from the streets, where he’d been living in frigid temperatures with a broken pelvis, femur, and ankle, neglected by previous owners who no longer wanted him.
Given the severity of the untreated fractures along with significant muscle atrophy and arthritis, multiple vets have recommended amputation. If his injuries had been treated earlier, Squeaks' leg could have been saved, but this sweet boy can still live a happy, healthy life as a tripod.
Your donation to Squeaks’ care will put him on the path to a happy life. His pain will end, he will recover from surgery in a happy, loving foster home, and we will find him an amazing adopter.
We rely on generosity of our supporters to fund these special cases. Please help us give little Squeaks the care he needs and show him he is loved!
Note: $2,500 is our estimate for the appointments, treatments, surgery, and medications required for Squeaks' care. Any money raised in excess of his needs will go toward helping other cats and kittens in Nashville Cat Rescue's care
More information about Nashville Cat Rescue: The mission of Nashville Cat Rescue is to rescue cats and kittens from off the streets and from high-kill shelters and then adopt them into loving homes. Before our cats are made available for adoption, they are tested for FIV/FeLV, spayed or neutered, given all necessary vaccinations, de-wormed, and given flea preventative.
