Help Homeless Long Island

Donation protected
About a year ago, our team was motivated to start this initiative after we saw the number of homeless people on 7th Avenue alone. This forced us to start researching about the homeless and homeless shelters in NYC. We were shocked by the numbers and wanted to do something to help out. Recently, due to the novel Corona-virus pandemic, the less fortunate have been highly susceptible to catching this deadly virus. We decided to launch Help Homeless so we can provide supplies for homeless shelters that have been trying to take care of the homeless. This donation is for two shelters, Nassau Haven and ADHD/ADD housing group. There are many struggling people in this world and we wanted to take part and help as much as possible.

Nassau Haven provides emergency shelter and short-term housing with 12 co-ed beds to runaway and homeless youth in Nassau County. Since 1982, Nassau Haven has helped young adults aged 10-20 seeking shelter by providing a community and a home environment. Many other services are also provided such as assistance with resolving a family conflict or establishing long-term housing for the future. We wanted to be able to help these kids in any way we could and we decided that especially during this holiday season, these kids should take priority.

ADD/ADHD Housing Group Inc provides residential care facilities with emergency shelter and food for single mothers and their children. These single mothers and children have been displaced from their own homes because of job loss, eviction, and etc. ADD/ADHD Housing Group Inc provides stability in a safe residential area and they have a mission to return these families back to stability in as little as 90 days. We wanted to be able to help as many people as possible so we also chose this shelter. Without a home during such dangerous times such as now, we wanted to be of help to these families and provide them with the resources needed to live comfortably.

Donate to us and we will be doing our best to allow these people to rehabilitate and get back on their feet. Your donation can be the difference between if someone eats or not. I can't emphasize enough how important it is for us to spread love and joy during this holiday season, especially for the people in need. Thank you for your contributions.
