The Smoak-Queen Legacy campaign

A year ago, we said goodbye to a family close to our hearts. For 8 years, we had the pleasure to see Oliver Queen and Felicity Smoak  become friends, fall in love, marry and start a family. The Smoak-Queen family has been a perfect representation of what family should be today : non traditional but full of love and acceptance. Despite Oliver’s absence for a time (there’s a door in the paradise dimension, don’t @ me), the Smoak-Queen family managed to build a strong unit, centered around Felicity’s love for her children, and the legacy of bravery and generosity that William and Mia’s father left them. 


On January 28th, after almost 20 years without seeing him, Felicity finally joined her husband again, letting William and Mia perpetuate the Smoak-Queen legacy. 


Unfortunately, too many children in the world don’t have the same luxury in life and suffer from the absence of their parents. It’s time for us as a community to continue the Smoak-Queen legacy and put on our (virtual) hood to help and make the world better for them. 


This campaign will support the Tumaini Miles of Smiles Centre in Kenya. The center, based in the rural West of the country, serves as an orphanage and a school. The center “houses, feeds, clothes the orphans, and provides quality education to enable them to break the cycle of poverty.” They focus on Early Childhood Education as a way to build strong and successful foundations on the learning process, a must-have to ensure great academic growth. First goal for this campaign is 1 000€, which would help provide food, school supplies and toiletries for all the orphans for two months. We will raise the goal if/when we reach our first step.
