My life long childhood friend, Molly, is living a nightmare and is need of our help right away! After displaying some concerning behaviors, on January 20, 2016 her brave little girl disclosed possible abuse and for months Molly sought assistance, reaching out to professionals and Child Protective Services. Despite further reports and instead of doing a thorough assessment and investigation, the system that Molly thought would help did the unimaginable and on April 16, 2016 the girls were removed from her care, at a total shock. Molly has been living a nightmare, allowed to see her two girls, ages 4 and 3, only one time per week for 3 hours, completely supervised, again with no immediate safety concerns reported. No efforts have been made by the system to work towards reunification. Molly's protective capacities have never been in question and she has been fighting a system riddled with bias and unfair expectations. Molly has not been allowed to attend doctor appointments, has missed birthdays and Holidays and no accommodations have been made for the girls to have connection to their Maternal relatives. Molly has devoted her life to helping others, she is a genuine sweetheart who has never been in any legal trouble, has no history or substance abuse or mental health issues and yet her character has been in question. As you can imagine the legal costs that have accrued and will continue to accrue add additional stress as she fights this battle and continues to advocate in the best interest of her two precious babies.
Through all of this injustice, Molly has continued to work a full time job and despite being forced to take time off for her visits, numerous court dates and meetings she is now working to get a second job. We can take a HUGE burden off of her shoulders and work to ensure that she receives effective counsel in her pursuit to conquer the injustice in this unnecessary nightmare. All generous donations will go directly towards Molly's legal fees.
Molly's strong faith and support from her loving friends and family have provided strength but she is facing a punitive system that does not appear to take in to account her character and the trauma induced by the very system intended to protect. With God's continued strength she will continue to fight until the day she is reunified with her two beautiful daughters and can rest easy knowing that the girls are back in her arms. St. Michael the arch angel protect us in this battle, be our defense against the wickedness and the snares of the devil. God bless you for your support and thank you!
