On the 8th of September, a devastating fire has ravaged Greece’s largest migrant camp, Moria, leaving nearly 13,000 people without shelter. Urgent humanitarian aid and support are required for the vulnerable population of refugees and asylum seekers in Lesvos. In August 2019 I worked in Moria camp for a month and was able to meet these wonderful people, some with whom I am still in contact today. Many volunteers are still on Lesvos dedicating their time and lives in order to respond to the most urgent need.

 

In consequence, on Sunday 25th of October, I will be running 50km (non-stop) throughout London in order to raise money for essential services in Lesvos. All your donations will go directly into funding humanitarian assistance and emergency relief to refugees and asylum seekers. Any donation, big or small, can help stabilise and provide vital aid to all impacted during the catastrophe.
