We are raising money for our 8th Grad community service project which is focused on food allergy awareness. Our goal is to raise money to expand knowledge about food allergies, potential anaphylaxis, and access to epinephrine, which is essential to stopping anaphylaxis. We would like to use the money we will raise to fund an Allergy Emergency Kit for the community. It would safely store epinephrine. The Hastings on Hudson school district currently has 96 children suffering from a life threatening food allergy. We will donate any leftover funds to NY Allergy Advocates, a nonprofit that advocates for allergy patients and conducts Epipen training in our area.
