Spread Joy with 150 Christmas Gift Boxes for the Homeless

Many of you know I volunteer at Grace Marketplace, an organization with the sole purpose of eliminating homelessness in the Gainesville, Florida area. Grace has a program that allows guests to come in and "shop" to get clothing that has been donated. While they are incredibly grateful for these items, I believe that everyone should get a NEW GIFT THAT THEY CAN UNWRAP at Christmas time.

Whatever holiday you celebrate, I am sure you can imagine the joy that receiving a real, new gift can bring.

I've purchased enough supplies to put together 150 gift boxes, each containing a brand new pair of colorful Christmas socks, a lip balm, and some Christmas candy, to be distributed at a Christmas party in their cafeteria. My cost is about $500. If you would like to help cover my costs, it would be a wonderful way to honor your own holiday tradition.
