My name is Caroline Conforti and I am currently a senior in high school. I have been volunteering in the inpatient Oncology Unit at Hackensack Meridian Ocean University Medical Center for almost two years now, and in that time I have seen the resilience of cancer patients, and especially those undergoing chemotherapy. I have also noticed how difficult it is to go through chemotherapy, particularly during the winter, so I have decided to raise money to donate Chemo Care baskets to the chemo infusion floor at Hackensack Meridian. With the help of any donation amount, I will be able to purchase fuzzy hats, socks, blankets, lotions, lip balms, heating pads, books/magazines and more in order to spread a little joy during a time of hardship☺️
