South Poinsettia Park Street Signs

NEIGHBORS, WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT TO RAISE $6000!!!
We are thrilled to be moving forward with the South Poinsettia Park distinctive street sign project! Replacing the existing street signs with distinctive signs such as the one pictured here will identify our neighborhood, give a unique look to the community, and improve safety through larger street signs that have better visibility.

By installing custom street signs we will be making a long term investment in the community. Despite the cost, these signs will enhance the look and feel of South Poinsettia Park, and should increase the character and value of the neighborhood.
We still have a lot to do before the signs go in and we need your support. To pay for the signs, we will be applying for county and city grants. But these won't cover the entire cost. The total cost for the first phase of the project consisting of 17 signs along S. Osprey Ave. is approximately $16,000. Of that, we need to fundraise close to $6,000, or about 40% of the total. This breaks down to just $350 per street.
Because of the grant cycles, we are targeting completion of this first phase of the project in the first quarter of 2017. But we need to raise the funds well in advance so we can be assured of being able to complete the entire length of S. Osprey within South Poinsettia Park.
Since we do not expect that all households will be able to contribute, we ask that you be generous with your contribution! We are thanking you in advance for helping to make our neighborhood a more beautiful and safe place to live.
