Sports Traider Newcastle Upon Tyne

We are bringing the Sports Traider Charity to Newcastle City Centre which exists to give young people from disadvantaged backgrounds and disabled people employment and sports participation opportunities.

In doing so they gain confidence, self-esteem, retail skills and improve mental and physical health.

The charity has 13 shops nationwide and has provided more than 1 Million volunteer hours creating a pathway into employment and education for over 1500 volunteers.

The funds raised from the shops have given over 35,000 young people sporting activity where this would not have been possible.

We do all of this by managing a professionally run chain of charity sports shops staffed by employees and volunteers.

The charity will use all funds from the shop to invest in sports participation projects in areas of deprivation in Newcastle and to provide equipment for disabled sports.
