Sports Coaching Volunteering

Hi my name is Beibhinn Gleeson and I'm fundraising to take part in a once in a lifetime opportunity on a volunteer trip to do Sports coaching in South Africa!

I'm currently studying Sports coaching in ATU Galway and I am reaching out for your support as I look to further my education and career by volunteering in South Africa. This incredible opportunity will allow me to use my skills to coach local youth in sports while gaining valuable hands-on experience that will shape my future in my career . South Africa's youth are incredibly passionate about sports, but many lack the resources and training to reach their full potential.

Myself and two other girls have been fortunate enough to come across this experience which will take place for two weeks in October, this will include working as sports coaches in 3-4 schools each day teaching them a wide variety of sports such as football, rugby, hockey, netball, basketball, tennis, dance, and potentially some GAA.

This trip is self funded with donations going towards the programme, so any donation no matter how big or small, would mean the world to me and the communities I’ll be working with. Thank you for your support!
