Sponsored Walk for Community Sports Kit

Hello,

Ross Howell, Aimee Hodgson, staff from Harrowgate Hill Primary School & coaches of Darlington United FC U12’s will be braving a 20 mile sponsored walk on Saturday 7th June 2025.

The Walk will commence at Durham Cathedral where the group will start the long journey back to Darlington allowing them to finish up outside of Harrowgate Hill Primary School.

The money will be split 50/50 with half of the funds raised going to Harrowgate Hill Primary School to enhance our sports provison, allowing us to purchase new kits for our sports teams. The other half will be donated to Darlington United Youth FC U12’s, a local grassroots team that Mr Howell manages, where they will purchase some new equipment to help improve the standard and quality of training provided to the children.

The results of this will not only benefit the children who attend Harrowgate Hill but also a local grassroots football team.
