Sponsored bike-a-thon

On 1st July, I will be taking part in a 24 hour bike-a-thon alongside a group of students to raise money towards World Challenge. This will be a very challenging task and will test our resilience and determination as well as our ability to work in a team and support our peers who may be struggling. World Challenge is an organisation who support school learning and giving students the opportunity to become true life-learners and true global citizens. They take students, such as myself, on life changing expeditions across the world, giving them the opportunity to give back to the community. My expedition will take place in Northern Tanzania, in June 2026 for three weeks and we will be helping the community by visiting a nearby educational institution, where we’ll assist with structural repairs and participate in renovation projects to improve the learning environment for local students. It’s the kind of learning that myself and other students will carry with us long into the future, learning that can only come from experiencing this amazing planet and the unique cultures that inhabit it.
