Hi! Our names are Anshul Shirude and Ayush Shingavi. We are two high school students looking to make a change for the families who need the most help in uncertain times.

Around the nation, the pandemic has changed the situation across all of our states. Food pantries are working hard to ensure they can feed the families who need our help. Recently, the Burlington food pantry reached out and were in immediate need for food. Originally, they used to serve 25-30 families daily, but they now serve upwards of 38 families per day (over 200 a week), and the number is rising everyday. With an increased burden on the food pantries, they need more food. As two citizens of the town of Burlington, we have made it our mission to provide assistance to the food pantries and their families. So, we have generated a list of seven items to include in our “Sponsor-A-Basket.” Each basket will cost around $13. Please help and support us to work in this mission together.
