Sponsor Lived Experts to attend Conference

The Lived Expertise Working Group is a team of people advocating for a Human Rights Based Approach to housing so that everyone in Kitchener has accesss to a safe, secure and affordable home!!

We need your help to attend the 2023 Canadian Alliance to End Homelessness to Conference in November. We want to learn from our Peers accross the nation, make connections with other Lived Experts and share the lessons from our first year of collaboration!!

We are aiming to present highlights from our work including a Photo Voice project on displacement, a rubric to assess how by-law officers engage with encampments, 2 minute plays about our Lived Experinces with housing precarity, and our evaluation of the city's progress with the Housing For All strategy.

We are not funded for this so we need your help. As Lived Experts (AKA we are broke) we do not have access to many funding options so your donations make all the difference!!!!

The Social Development Centre will set aside your donations for us. You will receive a charitable receipt for donations of $30 or more.
