Hallo allemaal,
Ik ben Sara IJzermans, dit jaar doe ik mee met de HDM Youth Academy, dat betekent dat ik deze zomer met 4 andere jongeren vrijwilligerswerk ga doen in Nepal.
Ik kijk daar enorm naar uit!
De Stichting HDM Youth Academy heeft sinds 2002 zo’n 284 hdm-jeugdleden uitgezonden naar diverse werelddelen, om andere culturen te ontmoeten en om vanuit de sport, maar ook via andere activiteiten, bij kinderen in weeshuizen iets goeds te brengen.
Hele mooie, vooral kleinschalige projecten, waarin wij Nederlandse jongeren, kennismaken met kinderen die het een stuk minder goed hebben dan wij.
Ik kijk erg uit naar dit avontuur en vind het geweldig om iets te kunnen betekenen voor de weeskinderen in Nepal; ik hoop een grote glimlach op hun gezichten te brengen!
Voor mij persoonlijk zal deze uitzending een ervaring zijn die ik nooit ga vergeten, een ervaring waar ik ook veel van zal leren.
Waarom ik u benader? Om deel te nemen aan deze uitzending ben ik verplicht om via fundraising ongeveer €1900 in te zamelen. Daarom zoek ik familieleden, vrienden en kennissen en/of bedrijven die mij persoonlijk willen steunen bij dit avontuur.
Mocht u vanuit een bedrijf willen doneren; bij bedragen boven de € 100,- ontvangt u van de Stichting een factuur, zodat uw bijdrage als ‘sponsoring’ aftrekbaar is.

Hello everyone,
I am Sara IJzermans. This year I am participating in the HDM Youth Academy, which means that I will be doing voluntary work in Nepal this summer with 4 other people.
I am really looking forward to it!
Since 2002, the HDM Youth Academy Foundation has sent around 284 HDM youth members to various parts of the world, to meet other cultures and to support children in orphanages through sports, but also through other activities.
These are nice, mainly small-scale projects, in which we Dutch young people get to know children who are a lot less fortunate than we are.
I am really looking forward to this adventure and I think it is great to be able to do something for the orphans in Nepal; I hope to bring a big smile to their faces! For me personally, this journey will be an experience that I will never forget, an experience from which I will learn a lot.
Why am I approaching you? In order to participate in this mission, I am required to raise approximately €1900 through fundraising. That is why I am looking for family members, friends and acquaintances and/or companies who want to support me in this adventure.
If you want to donate from a company; for amounts above €100, you will receive an invoice from the Foundation, so that your contribution is deductible as 'sponsorship'.
