A while ago, someone in our Coop Kitty Community suggested that we collectively sponsor a family for Christmas so that's exactly what we're doing!

The family that we are sponsoring includes a mom and her 5 young children, all under the age of 10. The family's situation involves several sensitive scenarios, so to protect their privacy, safety, and dignity, we won't be sharing any pictures or videos of the family. While I would love to show all of you where your donations are going, the family's safety is my top priority. But please know that every single item and dollar is making a huge difference in the lives of this sweet family!

Initially, we were hoping to make repairs to their current home. Unfortunately, we have learned from a contractor that the family's trailer is beyond repair. With this new information, we are shifting gears. We are now hoping to raise funds so that we can find new, safe housing for the family.

None of this would be possible without the children's teachers who continuously advocate for their students and their needs. Their teachers are the ones who saw a need and reached out to find ways of meeting that need. It goes without saying, but teachers are amazing! And all of you are amazing for being here and supporting this family either through donations or engagement on our social media!
