HBO FC U8 Blacks & Reds are each playing in a football match on Saturday 8th November 2025, in honour of Remembrance Day.

All of the players will be wearing a shirt poppy, along with planting a poppy stake at the Hatfield Broad Oak Village Green Remembrance Tree. They have been tasked to find out about a relative, family friend or someone they’ve researched who has served in conflict for our country.

In addition to their research, the players are wishing to gain sponsorship for the poppy they will wear; with 100% of funds going directly to the Royal British Legion.
