Hi, I’m Jonathan Trescher — a student and cross-country runner at East Northumberland Secondary School (ENSS).

This September, I’m running my first half marathon in the 2025 Canadian Forces Army Run in Ottawa to raise money for cancer research through my school’s Terry Fox Campaign.

I’ve always admired Terry’s determination, courage, and selflessness. As a runner myself, I want to honour Terry’s legacy while also supporting and bringing awareness to the Canadian Forces and Wounded Warriors , by putting my own two feet to work for the cause. My goal is to raise $2,100 — $100 for each kilometre I run.

Every dollar donated will be given directly to The Terry Fox Foundation through ENSS’s campaign once it opens in September.
