Sponsor a Buddy Bear for a child with MD

Carmela's Sponsor a Buddy Bear is now ready!

Carmela wants to help spread a little bravery to as many children as possible with Muscular Dystrophy like her, who get anxious and scared when attending lots of hospital appointments and miss their friends and school so much.

On diagnosis, some types are so rare that no information is provided to the parents, so Buddy Bear carries a keyring with the Web address to MDUK and Carmela's page to help them get through the initial stage of diagnosis with go to help and support. A poem for the child is on the back of Buddy.

Our aim for the next few months is to help close to 50 children living with a progressive muscle-wasting condition who receive treatment and tests at hospital constantly.
