Help Maria Get a Reliable Car!

Single mother Maria Neal is in need of a good, used vehicle for transportation to enable her to continue to work at Sake Café (server, bartender); to travel to sites/locations for her burgeoning photography/videography business; and to travel to physical therapy and pediatric appointments for her 9 month old son, Theodore.

Since the birth of her Theodore, Maria has been saving money by living with family and friends, in both LA and FL. She is currently looking for an affordable apartment in the Metairie area for herself and Theo, preferably close to one of her 3 siblings who also live in the greater NOLA area.

Maria’s 17 year old Kia Sorrento has become a financial liability, most recently with a cracked radiator and broken AC and so she is looking for a good, used Toyota or Honda (any model) and has test driven several. We (her BFFs Ashley and Catherine) would like to help her raise enough $ to buy a good used car and not have to be saddled with monthly car payments so she can afford her apartment.
