As many of you are aware, the Woolsey Fire in southern California threatened our Calabasas office building and the homes and property of many of our employees and their families.  Thankfully, our building was not damaged and none of our employees were directly impacted.  The fire, which began on November 8, 2018, did burn 96,949 acres of land in Los Angeles and Ventura Counties. It destroyed 1,643 structures, killed three people, and prompted the evacuation of nearly 300,000 people.

Many of you have asked how you can support the impacted communities and show appreciation to the firefighters who worked tirelessly to protect lives, private property and our Calabasas site.

To that end, we have organized a Spirent GoFundMe page to collect donations to support the Ventura County Community Foundation and the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation*.  Your contribution to the Ventura County Community Foundation will support the recovery and rebuilding process of the families affected by the devastating fires.   Additionally, your contribution will provide essential equipment, training and public outreach programs to the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation*.

Once collected, we will evenly disburse the monies to both charities. 

SPIRENT WILL, IN TURN, MATCH THE TOTAL AMOUNTS DOLLAR-FOR-DOLLAR UP TO $50,000 for all contributions made between today and December 21, 2018.
