Hi,

On the 14th June of this year I will be attempting the ‘Montane Summer Spine MRT Challenge South’.

This is a dedicated race for active members of Mountain Rescue. The run is a nonstop 108 mile race along the Pennine Way, from Edale to Hardraw.

I’ll be raising money for the Longtown Mountain Rescue Team. It has been a privilege over the last year to see the incredible work the team has been doing for 60 years.

If you would like to donate to this cause it will make a difference to this vital service. Donations of any amount would be gratefully received.

“Longtown Mountain Rescue Team is a voluntary organisation who respond to requests from the police for assistance in the Black Mountains of South Wales and into Herefordshire for injured and missing people. The Team is on-call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and relies entirely on donations from members of the public to carry out this essential life-saving rescue service”.
