Spicey Moms are here.
I’m Angelina Spicer — a comedian, mom, and founder of Spicey Moms.
After I had my daughter, I experienced postpartum depression and was hospitalized. I learned firsthand how difficult it can be to need help during motherhood, and how powerful it is when somebody actually shows up.
That experience eventually became Spicey Moms.
Today, we show up for mothers in practical ways: packing groceries for new families, providing postpartum care kits and supplies, creating spaces where moms can talk honestly about what they’re experiencing, and bringing mothers’ lived experiences into conversations about maternal health.
And sometimes showing up really means showing up.
We’ve sat with moms in their homes. We’ve worked alongside doulas and community organizations. We’ve brought resources directly to families. We’ve traveled from communities in the United States to Ghana and beyond, building relationships with the people caring for mothers every day.
Now we need your help to keep going.
Your donation helps Spicey Moms provide tangible support to mothers and families, purchase and distribute postpartum supplies, support community activations and listening spaces, and get resources where they are needed.
Our goal is simple: when a mom needs a village, we want Spicey Moms to be part of it.
Donate what you can. Share this fundraiser with someone who loves a mom.
And when you see that lime-green Spicey Moms flag, know what it means:
Spicey Moms are here.
