Spann Fam

Hi friends.

 

For those of you who don’t know me. I’m Shasta. I am starting this GoFundMe for the darling Spann fam.

 

Juni, who is 20 months old, was admitted to Children’s Hospital on Monday. The doctors finally narrowed it down and found that she had Salmonella poisoning. It has spread into her bloodstream. She was running a very high fever, not eating or drinking, diarrhea, and had low oxygen levels. This is not the easiest fix and there’s risk of sepsis. She has started antibiotics. And now she needs them and her little body to fight. She needs then to have 2 negative Salmonella tests. But it doesn’t end there. She will be in the hospital for a minimum of 7 days after her final negative test.

 

To know the Spann fam is to love them. And Juni is the sweetest little bug. She’s full of life and always climbing something. And let me tell you, that baby girl has major scooter riding skills. She may just be a pro one day! She has a big sister, Eleanor, who misses her. And parents who just want her better. To complicate this situation just a little more, Dana is just a few weeks out recovering from ACL surgery.

 

Life sure can throw a lot at us at once. And that’s where ALL of us come in. Friends. Family. Fit fam. Let’s cheer them on, just like these 2 have done for us. Whether it’s hearing Alan’s dad jokes at Orangetheory, having your butt kicked by Dana in a Barre class. I’ve watched Eleanor squeeze her sister so hard out of love you think she’d pop. I’ve seen the way Juni lights up when she sees the ones she loves. This family needs all our love. Our positive vibes. Our thoughts. And a little extra help.
