Lucy has a condition called neurofibromatosis this condition can cause tumours to grow all over the body inside and out some can cause cancer but most of the time they are just benign tumours . People that have neurofibromatosis can lose limbs go blind and also die from this condition. Last year when we moved into a bungalow as Lucy suffers with long walks and managing stairs as her legs get tired due to her having hypermobility muscle wastage and failure to thrive. We need to use a wheelchair for most journeys as she just gets tired and then will suffer with pain on the night. When we moved into the bungalow it only had a wet room with a shower no bath and the bathroom isn’t big enough for a bath. we miss having a bath so much as at night time Lucy used to have a soak in the bath which would help so much. We have noticed an increase in leg pain with Lucy the past few months and believe that this is due to the fact she has not been able to have a soak in a bath nor have we been able to go swimming because of COVID-19. so we are looking at buying a spa for her so that she can use it as much as she wants to help with physio and the pain. Also with her being a child a cover to go over it like a gazebo would be fantastic as Lucy is a bit of a naturist lol xx
