The historic Southside Democrat Club is currently the only building owned by a democratic organization in Marion County. It's rich history in democratic organizing and prime location in the heart of Fountain Square are just a couple of the reasons the SSDC is an asset to our mission: get good Democrats elected! 

Rising property taxes and the maintenance required to keep up our long-time used building have put a strain on our budgeting. While part of the beloved charm of our club house lies in it's historic decor, we need to make sure the building is structurally solid and the inside is refreshed. 

Our clubhouse is used by democratic organizers, for member event reservations, club meetings, luncheons, phone banks, canvass kick-offs, game nights and more.
