Haven’t heard of the Southie Kids Food Drive? That’s ok, we’ll tell you all about it.

The Southie Kids Food Drive is a Thanksgiving event put on by the Seven2 Foundation. The mission of the food drive is to support local businesses & provide assistance to Boston Public School students in need, specifically students with food insecurities.

Last year, we raised $7,500 in just 12 days, handing out over 700 meals throughout Boston. We have upped the ante and have set a goal of donating 2,000 meals to students the day before Thanksgiving this year!

All meals are purchased from local family-owned restaurants in Southie/Dorchester!

Food costs have increased by 5.8% in 2023 & also increased 9.9% in 2022!

$15 will cover 1 meal for a student in need this Thanksgiving.

$60 will cover meals for 4 students in need this Thanksgiving.

All donations are appreciated!

**Go Fund me will ask for a tip, that has nothing to do with the Food Drive**
