Help send UGA students to the 2025 Southern Worker Power Summit!
The Union of Southern Service Workers (USSW) is holding a summit from Jan. 31st to Feb. 1st in Greensboro, North Carolina that will convene its leaders and partner organizations to build a shared vision for organizing in the new year. February 1st marks the 65th anniversary of the Greensboro Sit-Ins initiated by Black college students fighting back against Jim Crow, and southern organizers seek to continue this legacy of struggle and incorporate students into the labor movement.
Students will not only learn from conversations with southern movement leaders at the summit, but bring those conversations back to campus and build a mass movement of students in the anti-racist and labor struggles of the south.
Donate to help make the trip to Greensboro possible and build the southern student movement!
