The people of Southern Kaduna in Northern Nigeria have suffered wanton loss as a result of incessant attacks by armed militia. These attacks are usually carried out in the middle of the night when the villagers least expect. The longterm effect of these violent attacks has resulted in many being left hungry, homeless, without a means of livelihood and traumatised. 

House of Justice is a public interest firm in Kaduna, Nigeria that has been at the forefront of fighting various forms of injustice both home and abroad. The firm has hosted an annual justice summit and banquet for the past five years in Kaduna but has decided to do things differently this year as the severity of the situation has called for. 

House of Justice has deemed it fit to lead the Southern Kaduna Resilience Fund (SKARF) as an effort to join in rebuilding the communities, restore livelihood and education for the children of the affected areas. From 1st December 2020 to 30th November 2021, HOJ and its partners across various nations seeks to raise the sum of $250,000 to support the rebuilding of home, livelihood and education in Southern Kaduna.
