South Africa Building Blitz with Mellon Educate

On the 18th of November we will be travelling alongside 325 other volunteers to Cape Town in South Africa to part-take in a 7 day building blitz with the goal of constructing 2 much needed schools for the local children in the surrounding areas of Cape Town.

Mellon Educate has been operating building blitz's for the past 20 years. Their mission is to bring literacy to 10,000's of children across Africa. Since 2013 Mellon Educate has built/renovated 36 schools and improved education for 50,000 children.

The purpose of this page is to raise much needed funds for building materials and cover the cost of travel expenses for the volunteers traveling to Cape Town this November.

Any donation is much needed, appreciated and never too small.
