Sound Bites Employees need our support

I'm a neighbor of Sound Bites in Ball Square Somerville, and a customer for many years. Sound Bites employees are hard working individuals, many have worked at Sound Bites for 20+ years -- who need your support.

When Sound Bites was sold in December, the new owner failed to file for a new restaurant or liquor license. As a result, by March, the restaurant was forced to shut down all but take-out. Many workers had their hours dramatically cut, some forced to leave and are still searching for jobs. The soonest the licensing petition can be heard is April 16 - more than a month of greatly reduced - or no - wages.

Sound Bites employees worked hard for our community so we could have a tasty, relaxing meal - now it's our turn to help reduce the huge strain and stress of lost jobs or cut hours.
