A beyond healthy café offering organic snacks, juices, beautiful smoothies, herbal lattes, and wholesome pastries... all made with intention and love... by yours truly! ☕

A conscious retail shop with plants, crystals, books, inspirational gifts, local handmade goods, amazing local artwork, and sustainable treasures.... dreamy right?

A gathering space for workshops such as vision boarding, planting and crafting, fire cider making, intention setting and manifesting, human design classes, sacred seasonal celebrations.... and oh sooooooo much more!

A cozy co-working studio with a balcony, adorable rentable workstations, and a space for book clubs, potlucks and events!

This sacred, whimsical, deeply intentional café and gathering space has a beautiful and meaningful name.... meet... Soulshine. A place where you can take off your armor and just LET. YOUR. SOUL. SHINE. Come as you are, friends!

And yes… we even have a shop cat named Willow to purrrrrr her love into all of us and this magical space! ‍

It’s where hygge - please tell us that you know the essence of this wonderful word, because this is where it all began and is the basis of everything being created - meets high-vibes! This is a living dream AND a space for others to create and step into their dreams! It's a sanctuary for our souls. A community nest.

A little bit about our founders…

Meet Jenny C…

I am the Mama bear of 7 amazing human beings... I have absolutely loved my role of mother and teacher over the past 25 years. I was gifted the wonderful opportunity to learn and grow alongside my kids as we unschooled, traveled, spent time in nature, frolicked in waterfalls, camped, cooked everything from scratch, lived holistically, wild foraged, and learned to make almost everything ourselves! I am blessed to have had so much precious time with them! I also somehow managed to operate my very own bakery business for 15 of those wonderful years. I made many, many really sweet wedding cakes, baked cupcakes for several local restaurants, and became pretty well known in my little hometown.

As I became aware of the quality of our foods and the ingredients that we use in relation to our health and wellness, and opened up to becoming more and more spiritual, my awareness, and my world, started expanding. I no longer felt alive in my work as a cake baker. And I felt a new burning desire to step into alignment with my service to the community... a desire to provide nourishing and delicious, and let's not forget about beautiful, foods and drinks... AND.. and that is a big AND.. a safe space for folks to gather, heal and rest... a space to be inspired and tap into creativity... a space to get quiet enough to hear the still small voice within, a space to plant and harvest dreams... a place to feel held and to receive warm hugs… to be seen and heard... and I am, we are, finally creating this space that has lived in my heart for all these years!

And now meet Jenni H…

Like Jenny C, I spent the last quarter century as a proud momma bear to three incredible humans. Being a mom has taught me so much about life, love, and the pursuit of (inner) peace and quiet. :) My kids, now all adults, have been my greatest creation, my greatest inspiration, my greatest teachers.

I have also worn many hats in my professional life including as a garden and gift shop owner, a spiritual bookstore manager, and a gift industry sales rep... always with a creative eye, and an exuberant entrepreneurial spirit.

I am a life-long seeker of knowledge, a quote and affirmation junkie. I love to both be inspired and be an inspiration to those around me...I love sharing what I have learned with others. Adding more joy, insight, and beauty to the world lights me up. Helping others learn to shine their light makes my heart sing.

Together, we are so happy and grateful to be here with all of you beautiful souls! We are looking forward to one day sharing our super fun story of how we met and how all of this came into play!

Soulshine is a cozy (notice how often we use that word, lol), enchanted café and community space designed for those who crave depth, beauty, growth, and meaning. It’s a space where you can sip a nourishing latte (made with love, of course!), tuck into a velvet chair with a really good book, take part in a women's circle, fill up on free- ionized water, attend an inspirational workshop, purchase the perfect whimsical gift for that very special someone, work in a space that supports the vibes for infinite creativity, learn about the love languages or the law of attraction, or simply.... just breathe.

Why It Matters?

This space is for everyone who has ever longed for a deeper connection, slow and intentional living, or a sense of “coming home.” It’s for those on a healing journey. For the ones seeking magic in the mundane. For dreamers, visionaries, and lovers of this Earth.

And it's especially for those of us rising from the ashes, following the whispers of our soul, and daring to build something different! Yes YOU!!

Soulshine is about bringing the modern-day village to life... a place where healing, creativity, play, nourishment, and togetherness all come into oneness. It's time.... ⏰

Why Back This Project?

-Because you would love to be a part of something wonderful!

-Because your inner child deserves a delicious latte in a fairy-lit forest.

-Because you secretly wish that your therapist served yummy cookies AND had a friendly shop cat named Willow.

-Because you’re like 84% sure that your soul lives in a place with velvet chairs, moon circles, and hanging plants.

-Because you’ve always wanted to say, “I helped build a crystal-plant-covered café in Tennessee.”

-Because where else can you get a beautiful smoothie and a spiritual awakening in one visit?

-Because the world needs more whimsy and less Wi-Fi (but we will still have really good Wi-Fi).

-Because you love us and believe in us, duh!

Ultimately, remodeling, furnishing, stocking and beautifying the space will likely cost more than our goal, but… this is a way for YOU to be a part of something really special! The remainder of the funding is coming from investors, lenders, and our very own pockets!

How Can You Help?

Your contributions will immediately go towards a time-travel device that will be used to go back in time and tell our past selves that this was a really, really good idea..... JUST KIDDING! (That was a good one wasn't it?) Okay, okay... all joking aside, your wonderful and much appreciated contributions will immediately go into completing the buildout of the space to include cozy yet functional furniture, stocking the store with whimsical retail, the buying of all necessary kitchen equipment (blenders, food processors, coffee makers/espresso machine, fridge & freezer, retail cooler), AND beautification of the space (because this is- almost- the most important piece, are we right?!)
