Bri (aka SoStarBCS on TikTok & other platforms), her husband, and their children were forced to flee their home and property in the middle of the night on March 5, 2026 due to escalating family violence and abuse stemming from mental health issues.
They only had time to pack a few suitcases and get their children and 20 dogs to a safe location. Bri was hospitalized for a day due to injuries she suffered during the incident that became the final tipping point.
They were able to find a temporary place to stay with all of their animals, including 20 dogs, 4 cats, 30 sheep, and 30 chickens, but they are now starting over without their home. Bri and her husband built their forever home with cash(their life savings) on her parents’ property with the promise that the land it was built on would be gifted to them once the home was completed. Once the home was built that promise was broken and they never received the deed that they were promised. Now they are left without the equity from the home they built and face the overwhelming financial burden of purchasing another home they had never planned for.
Bri, her husband, their children, and their animals are safe at this time, but their financial burden has only just begun. Bri’s mother also had to leave the property that same night and will be staying with them for the foreseeable future.
While trying to save for a down payment on a new forever home, they are also facing the costs of moving, police escorts required to retrieve their belongings from what was their home, temporary supplies needed to care for their animals, time missed from work while navigating these challenges, and many other unexpected expenses.
Right now, anything would help them get back on their feet. All donations will go directly to Bri’s family. The funds will go towards helping them survive this difficult time by contributing to legal and medical expenses and help build up a down payment on their actual forever home where Bri can rebuild her farm.
